Planning a late-October escape? Car-free Mürren is still just a scenic ride away. 🚡 From 19–30 Oct the Stechelberg cable car takes its maintenance break and a shuttle bus runs instead. Our tip: take the renewed cable car from Lauterbrunnen to Grütschalp, then the little train along the cliff edge, with the Eiger, Mönch & Jungfrau beside you the whole way. Quiet trails, golden larches, and a crackling evening in our 1865 chalet.
