🤩🤩 HUGE NEWS FOR LA TZOUMAZ 🤩🤩
Under a bright sun, the President and the General Management of Téléverbier officially launched the work of the future Telemixte, intended to link the Savoleyres - La Tzoumaz estate to that of Verbier, by giving the first shovel.
After many years of waiting, the project has finally obtained all the necessary permits to start construction. The opening of the second section of this new infrastructure is scheduled for winter 2025-2026, and the entire facility will be fully operational by 2026.
The outcome of a long process
The initial version of this project, designed in 2011, has been greatly improved over the years thanks to technical advances and a reassessment of Téléverbier's needs. The new project also addressed the concerns of opponents and the neighbourhood, leading to an amicable agreement with them.
A modern and high-end installation!
The Telemixte is a modern, high-quality facility that meets the latest industry standards. This infrastructure will include 10-seater cabins linking the Esserts (1700 m) to the summit of Savoleyres (2200 m) . 6-seater seats will also be available, linking the Planards intermediate station to the Savoleyres upstream station. Composed of three separate stations, this facility has been designed to offer optimum comfort and convenience, with on-the-spot boarding, making it easier to transport people with reduced mobility, strollers and bicycles during the summer season. The construction of this facility will replace two infrastructures from the 1970s: the Savoleyres gondola and the Southern ski lift. More than just a substitution, the Telemixte aims to improve the customer experience by making the connection between Verbier and La Tzoumaz simpler, faster and more comfortable for everyone.
Verbier and La Tzoumaz finally connected!
A new slope will be developed between the Carrefour and the starting point of the new facility, allowing a direct ski link to the latter from the Ruinettes sector. This long-awaited project represents an essential step in the development of the Verbier 4Vallées ski area.
🌞 Coup d’envoi pour le Télémixte Esserts-Savoleyres !
Vendredi dernier, nous avons donné le premier coup de pelle pour la construction du Télémixte Esserts-Savoleyres, une installation qui reliera Savoleyres-La Tzoumaz depuis Verbier. Après des années d’attente, le projet a enfin obtenu toutes les autorisations nécessaires pour lancer les travaux !

➡️ Une nouvelle piste pour une liaison directe à ski depuis les Ruinettes
