Rooted in Zermatt since 1933🤍

Alex Perren, our founder, was born here and spent his life in these mountains. His great-great-grandfather was Peter Taugwalder, the guide who led the first ascent of the Matterhorn in 1865. That deep connection to Zermatt lives on in every corner of this house.✨

A true classic✨

Beef tartare, hand-cut, seasoned just right. Frédéric Fischer does it the way it should be done. And you can taste it. Best enjoyed in the warm atmosphere of the Alex Grill, with a view of the mountains and a good glass of wine.
