Good fish, beautiful water, and a few familiar faces. Pretty much what we’re all about.
We’ve still got a little room on two great weeks this season:
Dec 27 – Jan 3 | Primo early season fishing. Long days, dry flies, and Patagonia at its finest.
March 7 – 14 | Big fish time. Enough said.
If you’ve been thinking about making the trip, here’s your chance. Give us a shout. We’ll take care of the rest.

Our new Vista gear is finally here. We borrowed a few colors and ideas from the places we fish and wander. Forest green and classic camo. Can’t miss.

By late summer, the Patagonian pampas are all dry grass and dusty browns. We like to dress accordingly. Sand tones and desert camo.

When the light gets low and blending in isn’t much of a concern, classic burgundy and black feel just right.

Navy blue and white. Nothing flashy, nothing to prove. A timeless classic.

Some color we took from nature, others just because we like them. No need to pick sides.

We put more thought into this piece than almost anything we’ve made. Inspired by those little creeks winding through dry, open grasslands, we turned their dusty browns and muted greens into a subtle watercolor camo, with a pattern of currents and waves layered on top. Built for long days under the sun, with UPF 50+ protection and lightweight polyester fabric. For those who get after it.

A week of fishing around Coyhaique can take you from the dry pampas to lush temperate rainforests. This colorway is all about those deep, contrasting greens, with the same subtle watercolor camo to help blend into the landscape.
Built for long days on the water and made to take a beating.

For those who prefer a more classic look, we came up with this washed vintage camo hoodie. Made from an ultra-light polyester/spandex blend for a softer feel against the skin. A more relaxed fit, perfect for those cooler days on the water.

This colors should have you covered in Patagonia and beyond.

In case you missed it, here’s our full recap of winter in Coyhaique.
We take a closer look at how the season unfolded and what it could mean for the months ahead, from snowpack and runoff to river levels and the way our local watersheds may behave as we move into spring and summer.
If you’re planning a trip down this season, it’s a good way to get a better feel for the conditions that helped shape the water we’ll be fishing.

The Simpson river has many faces, which is probably why it has become one of our local favorites.
Formed near the pampas by the Argentine border, at the confluence of the Huemules and El Blanco rivers, it works its way through valleys, canyons, town, and national reserve waters before eventually flowing toward the Pacific.
Every stretch has its own personality. Different structure, different rhythm, different mood. Add glacial streams, snowmelt, springs, rain-fed creeks, and daily hatches into the mix, and you get one of the most complex and interesting rivers we fish.
The Simpson can be generous to those who put in the work, but it never lets you get too comfortable. And that’s exactly what keeps you coming back.

Every part of the season has its own charm and challenges. March is no exception.
If there’s a window to get lucky with a true Patagonian pig, this is it.
They don’t come easy, but they’re not impossible either. You just have to be here when it happens.
A few March dates are still available. Reach out and let’s start planning.
