Being here is a reminder — we’re not separate from nature. We are part of it.

Sharing space like this… nature always finds a way to coexist 🦜🐾

In Piedras Blancas National Park, it’s common to witness moments like this where species overlap in the same ecosystem, each playing their role.

Scarlet macaws, once nearly gone from this region, have made a strong comeback here thanks to conservation efforts and are key seed dispersers, helping regenerate the forest.

Coatis, on the other hand, are curious foragers you’ll often spot moving through the jungle in groups, using their long snouts to search for fruits, insects, and small animals keeping the ecosystem balanced in their own way.

These two were spotted on a large palm tree which is seen from our cabin Casita Cacao 🌳

Just a few miles beyond the Golfo Dulce lies some of the world’s best pelagic sport fishing 🐟

People from around the world come to the Southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica in search of mahi mahi, yellowfin tuna, sailfish, marlin, and more. The Golfo Dulce and Osa Peninsula are known as one of the most biologically rich regions on Earth.

We fish with intention, respecting the balance of the marine ecosystem we’re part of. Many species are strictly catch and release, while others are abundant and sustainably sourced 🎣

👉 Book a deep sea fishing experience with us and head out on the water with our local crew!

You’ll learn the techniques, take part in the process, and if we make a catch, we’ll bring it back to our lodge and prepare it fresh for you 🍣
