Hoy queremos compartir el testimonio de nuestra querida abuela, una de las raíces de nuestra familia, quien vivió la erupción del Volcán Arenal en 1968. Más que un recuerdo, es una historia de vida que deseamos preservar y compartir con quienes nos visitan, para honrar la memoria de aquel acontecimiento que transformó nuestra comunidad para siempre.
Behind Hotel Catarata Ecolodge is a family whose roots have been intertwined with the history of Arenal for generations.
Today, we are honored to share the story of our beloved grandmother, one of the pillars of our family, who witnessed the 1968 eruption of the Arenal Volcano firsthand.
More than just a memory, her testimony is a piece of living history that we are proud to preserve and share with our guests. Through her words, we honor the resilience of our community and remember the event that forever transformed this remarkable region we are fortunate to call home.
