Textile Art Retreat week with Sophie Standing Textile Art at Mandala has been an inspiring week of watching participants create under the mentorship of the talented Sophie Standing.

In partnership with Bernina Costa Rica Bernina sewing machines in San Jose, beautiful art pieces were created.

Weeks like this remind us that we are here to live, learn, create memories and to connect. The first of many art retreats at Mandala. Stay tuned for Watercolor, textile and other painting themed retreats.

Creative juices have been flowing this week at Mandala Ojochal. They came to the jungle strangers and are leaving connected, laughing, beaming with joy. What a beautiful group of people, brought together by Ojochal’s own, the talented Sophie Standing Textile Art. Our first Textile Art Retreat, but certainly not our last. We are looking forward to having this group back next year. 🦥 🐆
