That kind of loud. That kind of alive.

Some mornings you’re out before anyone else is awake.

Fishing rods, the boat, and whatever the gulf decides to give that day.

Sometimes it’s tuna. Sometimes mahi. Sometimes just a baby snapper and a story about the dolphins you saw on the way back.

Empty handed or not, you always come back the same way.

Full.

This is what breakfast looks like at Tumbo.

Green juice. Fresh OJ. Fruit. Granola, chia, yogurt. Bread from the oven. Apple cake. Hard boiled eggs. Ham and cheese. Butter, jam, peanut butter, lavender honey, almond chocolate spread, mashed avocado.

And coffee. Always coffee.

We call it bounty.
