ess: tropical beaches, rainforests, mangroves and traditional ways of living. Nosara with it´s capital town of playa Guiones is locally known as ”one of the most beautiful beaches in the world . It´s inhabitants, although economically poor, are lively and very friendly and live "isolated" from the mainstream Costa Rica economy in a landscape full of beauty and abundant natural resources. Arribadas Station is located on the main beach, It was established in the year 1993 by the Cruz Sevilla family in order to promote sustainable community development in the area of influence and to maintain a productive conservation area. The Station serves as a base to develop and implement a variety of community extension and ecotourism programs in the region. STATION’S DESCRIPTION AND FACILITIES Arribadas Station covers a succession of ecosystems such as beaches, mangroves, man-made wetlands and tropical humid rainforest. LAMENTABLE
