Linda built BaliBala to share the nature of Costa Rica, and to show that a sustainable stay can still be a comfortable one. She came here by way of the Netherlands, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Chile and Spain, and she works in solar energy. ✨

Guests write about monkeys wandering past the tent and a beach that stretches empty for miles. 🐒

The supermarket and restaurant are 800 metres along the sand. Beach towels and chairs provided. A good base for Manuel Antonio, Dominical and Bahia Ballena the national park is fifty minutes away.

The one without the pool. That’s exactly the point. 🌿

No pool means the whole property is fully fenced and open to children of any age, and the garden becomes the centre of the stay instead of the deck.
Two bedrooms that lock - king in one, queen and a high twin in the other. Two open-air showers with hot water. The living room, terrace and kitchen open straight onto the garden, with lounge chairs, a hammock and beach towels outside.

Sleeps five. 24-hour on-site security. The beach is steps away and Manuel Antonio National Park is fifty minutes by car.
Breakfast can be arranged in advance, and Linda can help organise tours, surf lessons or horseback riding. 🐎

Playa Matapalo is right there: an endless beach, deep shade, and the most beautiful sunsets in Costa Rica. Two restaurants and a small supermarket are a fifteen-minute walk. Manuel Antonio National Park is fifty minutes away.
One guest counted twenty-five bird species without leaving the property. 🦜
