Lavender is easy to love in June.
Purple flowers, bees, long evenings and that unmistakable scent in the heat.
Late autumn is less photogenic.
The flowers are gone. The colour has faded. The plants are resting and waiting for another season.
We actually like them this way too.
A garden isn’t supposed to look like an Instagram photo twelve months a year. It changes, sleeps, grows back and reminds us that not everything has to be permanently in bloom.
Come spring, the cycle starts again.

Lavandu je lako voleti u junu.
Ljubičasti cvetovi, pčele, dugačke večeri i onaj miris koji se pojača na vrućini.
Kasna jesen je manje fotogenična.
Cvetova više nema. Boja je nestala. Biljke miruju i čekaju novu sezonu.
Nama se dopadaju i ovakve.
Bašta ne treba dvanaest meseci godišnje da izgleda kao fotografija za Instagram. Menja se, spava, ponovo raste i podseća da ništa ne mora neprekidno da cveta.
Na proleće sve počinje ispočetka.
