We are so excited to finally welcome you to our newest location – 📍Lodge am Pferdehof features four thoughtful cabins and a shared communal space:
🌲 Two cabins look out directly into a tranquil forest of spruce, fir, and oak.
🐴 Two cabins sit nestled right alongside the farm’s peaceful horse paddocks.

Whether you're watching the sunlight filter through the treetops from your terrace or sharing stories with fellow travelers by the communal area, this is a place to step away from everyday obligations.

The heart of the lodge: This isn't a traditional riding stable. The farm is dedicated to Natural Horsemanship – a practice built on trust, clear communication, and treating horses as equal partners. Your local host, Uwe, lives and works on the farm and is always happy to share insights into his respectful work with the animals.

Thanks to Rayleigh scattering, the low angle of the sun means sunlight travels through a thicker layer of atmosphere, filtering out the blue light and leaving us with these long, rich red and gold wavelengths. Add in a little spring pollen and humidity acting as natural light-diffusers, and you get this exact cinematic glow.
