Every new chapter has a story before it.

In 1902, César Ritz and hotel director Georges Gottlob opened Restaurant Ritz here, welcoming discerning guests for elegant lunches and dinners overlooking Frankfurt’s Kaiserplatz.

Following the hotel’s reconstruction, Restaurant Français opened in its place in 1952. Its first Michelin star followed in 1976. Decades of French haute cuisine and a celebrated w**e list made it a cherished address for culinary excellence.

Today, that story continues with Français Jour · Soir, bringing the pleasure of the salon into a new era.
