We moved our "home" to Brusand Camping today. Wanted to find somewhere with less wind. The wind here is just enough to keep the temperature liveable. My workshop is just a few km away, so I went there and picked up a welders mask to have ready for tonights 80% solar eclipse 😎.

I did not do a good job keeping this page updated in 2025. Will post some posts and pictures from last year while we get ready for a new season.

My in-laws have a great property here in south-western Norway and we figured that we would try to camp in their "yard" for a weekend. After an hours drive, a short ferry ride and then 2 kms more of driving we arrived and had to thread the caravan around their barn using the mover before connecting back to the car for the last meters to the spot we picked.
And it was worth it. A great spot with incredible view out over the fjord and Randøy and Ombo. When it was time to go home, we tried another way out. Nearly hitting the ground in the steep slope, but had 5cm to go...
