“We stayed at Romana’s for 3 nights and it was everything we asked for and more. You have to accept that it is in the middle of a jungle, so not everything is easy, but it is the very best that you could hope for in this location.

The hut is great — it has all the quirks of being in a jungle location without being too raw.

With this Airbnb, you paid for the room and the hut, but the biggest value of our stay were the exceptional hosts who guided our whole stay and gave us so much advice, alongside organising a quad bike and other experiences.

They gave us the right amount of space to cook and eat and were there whenever required — likely the best hosts we’ve had on Airbnb!

Would 100% recommend if you are looking for an adventure and are ready to enjoy being in the wild for a few days and away from the world.”

If you’re looking for paradise, you’ve found it. Our stay at Romana’s ranch was nothing short of magical.
Waking up surrounded by lush jungle, the nearby waterfalls, and pure peace and quiet all around you. It’s the kind of place that makes you forget your phone even exists. Romana was such a sweetheart from the moment we arrived, and her whole family made us feel genuinely welcome, not like guests, but like friends.
The hike through the jungle trails was stunning and such a great way to move your body while taking in breathtaking views at every turn. And the waterfall?
Absolutely worth it, a perfect spot to cool off and just soak in how beautiful this corner of the world is. This was the most romantic getaway my partner and I could have asked for. Every detail, every moment, felt special. If you want a true escape into nature with warm hospitality to match, do not hesitate to book this place. Thank you for creating such an unforgettable experience for us, we can’t wait to return

“Felt like home. Being in the woods surrounded by nature was amazing for us. We would recommend this place to anybody! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need for cooking.

We really loved the place, and especially Daniel! He was on top of everything, even helping us bring our groceries to the kitchen and showing us around. If you need anything, Daniel is the person to talk to!” 🌿✨

🐝💚 After the rain, the forest comes alive.

After the heavy rain we had last night here at Rancho Romana, I captured this incredible little visitor — a metallic green bee moving from flower to flower.

Its jewel-like color is completely natural, created by the microscopic structure of its body as it reflects the light.

She may be tiny, but her role is enormous. As she searches for nectar and pollen, she becomes part of one of nature’s most important processes: pollination.

Moments like this are why we always say: slow down, look closely, and let nature surprise you.

Birthday girl duties at Rancho Romana: 🎂🌴🍌

While some people get flowers for their birthday… I got a HUGE banana bunch falling from a tree! 😂

So obviously, I had to cut it down myself. 💪🍌
