The mats are out and the studio is ready for the next session. 🧘‍♀️ With a view over the pool and the gardens, it’s a pretty good setting for an hour of yoga. A quiet space to stretch, move and take a break from the day. 🐢 🐢

A session in our yoga studio at Semilla Verde. 🧘‍♀️ A quiet space to move, stretch and take some time for yourself, surrounded by the greenery of the property. Whether it’s an early morning practice or an afternoon session, the studio is there to make some room for slowing down during your stay.

A walk through the Semilla Verde garden can sometimes take a little longer than expected. 🌿🐢 You might turn a corner and find one of our giant tortoises making its way along the path. Just one of those things that makes staying here a bit different. 🐢

Just another morning at Semilla Verde. 🐢🌿 Our giant tortoises have a habit of taking their time, and there’s no better example than this one making its way down the garden path. They’re not exactly in a rush and honestly, neither are we.

All the woodwork you find throughout Semilla Verde is hand-crafted by our local carpenters. Their skill and attention to detail can be seen in every piece, from the larger furniture to the smaller details around the hotel.

Each piece is made with care and adds something unique to the character of the property. We love working with local craftsmen and having their work become part of the spaces our guests enjoy during their stay. 🌿🪵

A quiet day on the balcony. 🧘‍♀️ Starting the day with a bit of yoga, fresh air and the view from Semilla Verde. Nothing complicated, just a good place to stretch and take your time.

Caught mid-bite. 🐢 One of our giant tortoises getting stuck into lunch, completely focused on the important things. A close-up look at one of the regulars around Semilla Verde. 🐢

Dinner at Eloise during our yoga retreat. 🌙 After a full day of yoga and exploring the Galápagos, spending the evening by the water with a relaxed dinner and views of the bay. With the restaurant lit up against the night and rays moving through the water below, it was a great spot to finish the day and enjoy the evening together.

Marine iguanas at Tortuga Bay. 🦎 After feeding in the water, they come back onto the rocks to warm up in the sun. One of the animals you’re likely to spot along this part of Santa Cruz.

A 25-inch mirror with a bit of history. 🪞 Originally sold to Semilla Verde in 2012 by Sarah Darling, this piece has now been restored and given a new lease of life in 2026. Fourteen years later, it’s still part of the story here. ✨ Sarah Darling
