Nabq Bay Beach Resort
Nabq Bay Located 20 minutes’ drive from Sharm International Airport, this place is a city within the city. It has several advantages over the rest of the town. The beach formation at Nabq is different, as it consists of a 1 km shallow ankle-high water, followed by a sharp drop off.
National Park of Nabq is a beautifully plush area, brimming with life right in the middle of the desert, the region of Nabq has been announced as a protected spot in 1992, and has been made part of the Ras Mohamed National Park’s territory.
Nabq Bay is on a promontory overlooking the Straits of Tiran at the mouth of the Gulf of Aqaba. Sharm el-Sheikh city has been subdivided into five areas, namely Nabq Bay, Ras Nasrani, Naama Bay, Ras umm Sid, and Sharm El Maya. Together with Hay el Nour, Hadaba, Rowaysat, Montazah and Shark's Bay, it forms a metropolitan area of 42 square kilometres.
Nabq is the less crowded area of Sharm el Sheikh, consisting mainly of hotels and beaches where you can swim surrounded by fish or dive off the coral reef. A quiet area with good views over to Tiran Island. This is a long way from Naama Bay though, at least half an hour drive. Not really suitable for divers, due to its distance from the dive centres.
Nabq Bay, now one of the world’s premiere resorts and environmentally-protected diving destinations, entices visitors to explore nature or just sit back and relax. Visitors will be charmed by reefs populated with hundreds of species of coral and thousands of tropical fish. It is truly an extraordinary environment. There are many Sharm excursions, same day tours and transfer services available. You can take a variety of Sharm excursions or Day Tours for Safari & all entertainment activities. Also you can travel to Cairo, Luxor, Jerusalem, Petra, Mount Sinai or St.Catherine’s. This way you can choose your Day excursions from a variety of trips and services that are available to you
