AEMET has issued an orange storm warning for this Friday, 2 October, for storms and rain along the southern coast of Alicante – the area where Benidorm is located – between 10.00 and 19.00. The warning forecasts rainfall of up to 40 mm in one hour.

An ORANGE WEATHER WARNING is in force for storms and heavy rain in the Benidorm area today, Friday 2 October, from 10:00 to 19:59. Please take extra care, particularly on roads, near the coast and in areas susceptible to flooding. Follow official weather updates throughout the day.
