We’ve put together the two most convenient and scenic routes for you.

🚶‍♂️ Option 1: A Scenic Walk

If you want to truly feel the vibe of the city and are in no rush, go on foot.
* The Route: Head down from the villa towards the coast. Your main landmark is the famous Ondarreta Beach (Playa de Ondarreta).
* Travel Time: About 20 - 25 minutes of a pleasant stroll.

🚌 Option 2: Quick & Cozy on Bus №16

Perfect for those who want to reach the city center in just a few minutes, or for anyone heading home after a long, exciting day (because walking back uphill after a dozen pintxos is probably not the best idea!).
* Where is the bus stop? The nearest stop for Bus №16 (Igeldo - Centro route) is just a few minutes’ walk from the villa.
* Frequency: The bus runs every 30 minutes (you can easily track the live schedule on Google Maps).
* Where it takes you: The route goes across the city. You can get off at Ondarreta Beach, near the Buen Pastor Cathedral, or ride all the way to the final stop right in the heart of San Sebastián.
* Travel Time: Just 15 minutes - and you’re there!
* Payment: You can buy a ticket directly from the driver with cash (it’s best to have small bills ready) or pay using a Mugi transport card.
