Are you looking for an Autumn/winter escape where you can restore, relax or write that book?

We are offering our beautiful, fully furnished Casita to rent for 3 months, available from October 1st onwards. The Casita has 2 generous bedrooms that sleeps 4 in total in either 2 super king sized beds or 4 singles or alternatively, 1 super king room and one twin room. Both bedrooms are en-suite shower/bath provided either soñar hot water. The kitchen is fully equipped and there’s a comfortable sitting room with a log fire and plenty of firewood.

We are 90 minutes from Malaga airport and 45 minutes from Granada. The ski resort in the Sierra Nevada is also at hand within an hour’s car ride. Landscape and scenery are breathtaking and fresh eggs from ‘our girls’….what’s not to like?!

What a fantastic few days it’s been hosting the lovely Adriana Welham | Longevity & Midlife Confidence and her group of Ladies here Escolta Alta Mountain Retreat. Foraging walk, massages and a full day and evening trip to Granada to take in the sights in the Albaycin and La Amhambra. A magical hour Flamenco topped it off but the magic of yesterday evening will stay with us for a long time to come when we had the pleasure of hosting Chris and Anna Stewart (Author of Driving over Lemons and other books) with his fabulous guitar playing and some funky dancing by some of the group members! Thank you to you all….we hope you will return next year! 🇪🇸💃🙏🥰

The end of a 12 year Era today as we said goodbye to our Landy….203,000 miles on the clock and muchos memos! Happy retirement and we will miss the goat of that engine but we won’t miss the never ending car bills! Thank you for your service and those of you who have had travelled in her will doubtless have your own memories! Onwards and upwards!

We’ve never known so much rain at Christmas here and when it rains here it means it’s snowing higher up!

Wonderland Sierra Nevada - It's been a long time since we've seen anything like this at Christmas. Even the Pradollano valley station is covered in a thick blanket of snow.
