La fecha prevista para este evento es el 7 de junio, y la misa se celebrará al aire libre alrededor de uno de los monumentos más emblemáticos de la ciudad. Por esta razón, el operativo preparado es enorme, con controles, calles cortadas y valladas, pantallas gigantes y cientos de voluntarios repartidos por la zona para ordenar la llegada de los miles de asistentes.

La misa arrancará a las diez de la mañana de ese domingo en la plaza, donde se colocará el altar desde el que el Papa León XIV celebrará el Corpus Christi, todo ello frente al Palacio de Cibeles.

The event is scheduled for 7 June, and the mass will be held outdoors near one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. For this reason, the security operation in place is massive, involving checkpoints, road closures and barriers, giant screens, and hundreds of volunteers stationed throughout the area to manage the arrival of the thousands of attendees.

The Mass will begin at 10 am on that Sunday in the square, where an altar will be set up from which Pope Leo XIV will celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi, all in front of the Cibeles Palace.

Con motivo de la visita del Papa León XIV a Madrid, tendrá lugar una Vigilia para jóvenes en la plaza de Lima. Con este motivo diversos artistas y grupos han sido invitados a cantar. Así, se ha cerrado un cartel encabezado por nombres como Beret, DePol, Antonio José, la banda barcelonesa Malmö 040 y el grupo vallisoletano Siloé. Junto a ellos, completan la programación propuestas musicales como Besmaya, Hey Kid, Ignacio Serrano, Mr. Rain, Inazio, Lola Tuduri y Antoñito Molina.
En el apartado de música espiritual y liturgia actuaron Hakuna, Paola Pablo, Tuyo, Servus Marie, Presencia Project y la participación especial de la sección de música Gospel de Antonio Banderas.

In this activity you will be able to get closer to the reality of homeless people in Madrid. Offering them a hot coffee you will have the opportunity to have a face to face meeting to talk, share experiences and, above all, understand that no one deserves to be on the street because they are people like you, with very complicated situations.

At 4:00 pm we will have a training session where we will explain the reality of homeless people and how to operate in the routes. Then, the volunteers will be organized in groups to make the routes through the center of Madrid accompanied by a coordinator.
