You open the tent and there it is: an entire forest outside, the sky turning gold between the trees and the last light of the day falling quietly across the camp.

No explanation is required. You simply pull up a chair, pour yourself something good and stay there long enough to watch the colours change............................................

September is when we all agree to go back to “normal.”
Alarms. Shoes. Passwords we were certain we would remember.
Lunch at an appropriate hour and absolutely no lying under a tree unless it has been scheduled in advance.

It’s good to be back.
