Did you know that panellets are a traditional sweet of the Balearic Islands?
These small marzipan-based sweets are especially popular around All Saints’ Day, when they become part of one of the most traditional times of the year in Mallorca and the Balearic Islands.
Made mainly with ingredients such as almonds and pine nuts, panellets have a long history connected to autumn traditions and the harvest of local nuts.
