To reach the San Pedro del Pinatar mud baths (located in Lo Pagán) from Torrevieja using public transport, you can take a regional bus.
By Car 🚗 Fastest): The drive from Torrevieja takes about 25–35 minutes depending on traffic. You generally take the N-332 highway heading south along the coast. Follow signs toward San Pedro del Pinatar and then look for signs for "Lo Pagán" or "Las Salinas."
Parking: Once you arrive in Lo Pagán, there are several public parking areas near the promenade and the entrance to the salt flats. From there, it is a short, pleasant walk to the wooden platforms where the mud baths are located.
Getting There by 🚌
Departure: Buses depart from the main Torrevieja Bus Station (Terminal de Autobuses de Torrevieja).
Arrival: You will arrive at the San Pedro del Pinatar Bus Station.
Frequency & Duration: Services run several times daily (typically 3–7 trips depending on the day). The journey usually takes between 40 and 50 minutes.
Cost: Tickets are very affordable, generally costing between €2 and €4.
The Final Leg (To Lo Pagán)
The San Pedro del Pinatar bus station is located in the town center. To reach the mud baths in Lo Pagán:
Walking: It is approximately a 20–25 minute walk from the San Pedro del Pinatar bus station to the Las Charcas mud bath area in Lo Pagán.
Local Taxi: If you prefer not to walk, a short local taxi ride from the bus station to the Lo Pagán waterfront will take only about 5 minutes and is quite inexpensive.
