We’re delighted to be hosting Dahye Jeong, winner of the 2022 LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize, for a two-month artist residency,developed in partnership with the LOEWE FOUNDATION to support Craft Prize alumni.

A Korean artist specialising in traditional fibre craft, Jeong works with horsehair to explore its material qualities and potential. During her time in Mallorca, she has been drawing inspiration from the island’s Mediterranean light and natural surroundings to explore pattern, structure and material expression in her work.

Running until the end of the month, Jeong’s residency continues our collaboration with the LOEWE FOUNDATION, following the residencies of Craft Prize 2023 finalist Kaori Juzu and Craft Prize 2018 finalist Deirdre McLoughlin earlier this year.
