Cada apartamento tiene terraza o balcón. 🌅 Vistas al mar, a la montaña o al jardín. Cocina equipada para empezar el día como quieras, sin depender de horarios. En octubre el ambiente es tranquilo y el aire, templado. Es difícil mejorar eso.

Every flat has a terrace or balcony. 🌅 Views of the sea, the mountains or the garden. A fully equipped kitchen so you can start your day however you like, without having to stick to a timetable. In October, the atmosphere is peaceful and the air is mild. It’s hard to beat that.

La Gomera en otoño tiene una banda sonora propia. 🐦 Las pardelas vuelan rasando el agua al anochecer. Desde las terrazas del complejo y desde la orilla se escuchan con claridad. No hace falta salir de excursión para darse cuenta de que este Atlántico está vivo.

October in Valle Gran Rey. 🍂 Lovely weather, less crowded beaches and the same trails, the same sea and the same views as always. Just without the queues you get in August. If you’re thinking of coming, this is the season to do it.

Octubre en Valle Gran Rey. 🍂 Buen clima, playas menos concurridas y los mismos senderos, el mismo mar y las mismas vistas de siempre. Solo sin las colas de agosto. Si estás pensando en venir, esta es la temporada.

October is coming, and Valle Gran Rey becomes a different destination in shoulder season 💻 Your own terrace, a fully equipped kitchen, WiFi and the Atlantic in the background. The 74 apartments at Jardín del Conde have everything you need to work remotely for a few days. Or to switch off completely.

Septiembre es buen mes para las playas de Valle Gran Rey 🏖️ Playa del Inglés, con su arena oscura y las rocas al fondo. Playa de Vueltas, junto al puerto, con más movimiento y servicios cerca. Las dos cerca de Apartamentos Jardín del Conde. El agua del Atlántico en su mejor momento del año.

September is a great month for the beaches of Valle Gran Rey 🏖️ Playa del Inglés, with its dark sand and rocks in the background. Playa de Vueltas, next to the harbour, with more activity and services nearby. Both within 100 metres of Apartamentos Jardín del Conde. The Atlantic at its warmest time of year.

¿Cómo se llega a Valle Gran Rey? 🚢 Ferry desde Tenerife hasta San Sebastián de La Gomera, y desde ahí guagua hasta Valle Gran Rey. La carretera cruza la montaña: cuenta con al menos hora y media de trayecto. No es el camino más corto, pero lo que espera al llegar lo compensa.

How do you get to Valle Gran Rey? 🚢 Take the ferry from Tenerife to San Sebastián de La Gomera, then a bus across the mountain to Valle Gran Rey. The road winds through the highlands — allow at least an hour and a half. It's not the quickest journey, but what's waiting at the end makes it worthwhile.

Septiembre en los jardines de Jardín del Conde 🌴 Palmeras que dan sombra natural, la piscina a pocos pasos, hamacas en el solárium. El calor del verano sigue, pero el ambiente es más tranquilo. Apartamentos rodeados de verde, a 20 metros de la playa.

September in the gardens of Jardín del Conde 🌴 Palm trees providing natural shade, the pool just a few steps away, sun loungers on the solarium. The summer heat is still here, but the atmosphere is quieter. Apartments surrounded by greenery, 20 metres from the beach.

¿Sabías que existía el silbo gomero?
En La Gomera se habla silbando. El silbo gomero es una lengua silbada que los gomeros usaban para comunicarse entre barrancos y montañas. En 2009 la UNESCO lo declaró Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad. Hoy se sigue enseñando en las escuelas de la isla. No hay nada igual en el mundo.

In La Gomera, people speak by whistling 🫧 The silbo gomero is a whistled language used by the islanders to communicate across ravines and mountains. In 2009, UNESCO declared it an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It is still taught in schools on the island today. There is nothing else like it.

Los Órganos, en la costa norte de La Gomera 🌋 Una pared de columnas de basalto que solo se ve desde el mar. No hay carretera que llegue hasta ahí. La forma de verlos es en barco, y las excursiones salen desde distintos puntos de la isla. Uno de esos lugares que cuesta creer que existen.

Los Órganos, on the northern coast of La Gomera 🌋 A wall of basalt columns you can only reach by sea. No road gets you there. The way to see it is by boat, with trips departing from various points around the island. One of those places that's hard to believe is real.
