Chalet Algonquin is perfectly located in the middle of the entire Paradiski ski area. The famous Vanoise Express gondola almost passes over the chalet and connects the ski areas of Peisey-Vallandry & Les Arcs with La Plagne.

That means endless possibilities, easy access to all sides of the resort, and a different adventure every ski day!⛷️

The huge windows in the living room!

From sunrise in the morning to the last light hitting the mountains in the evening, the views never get boring. Looking out over the village rooftops and surrounding peaks, it’s hard not to stop and stare for a moment ❤️

Nothing beats bubbling in awarm whirlpool bath after a day in the snow🫧.

You can find oud whirlpool bath outside, always nice and warm and big enough for up to 6 people.

No French stay is complete without a proper cheese platter 🧀🇫🇷

On one evening during the week, we serve a BIG cheese platter as dessert, with a selection of carefully chosen cheeses to try and share.

Not a cheese lover? No worries! We always make sure there are plenty of delicious alternatives too😉

One of the true highlights of the area: spotting ibex in the wild 🐐

The Rosuel National Park, (just a 10-minute bus ride from the chalet), is home to many of these impressive animals. From spring onwards, they’re easier to spot as they come down to lower areas.

Often seen high up on the rocks, but sometimes surprisingly close. A special encounter you definitely won’t forget!

Six evenings a week, we serve a freshly prepared 3-course dinner! So after a day on the slopes, all you have to do is sit down and enjoy🤗

'We had a very good stay in chalet Algonquin. Everything was neat and clean, well equipped, very cosy and spacious. We also received a warm welcome from the very helpful hosts, Sander and Maaike. The location is perfect, right next to the ski bus stop that takes you to the lift for the Vanoise Express in just five minutes, the connection between Les Arcs and La Plagne.’

A sunny spot with a view ☀️

Our south-facing balcony offers beautiful mountain views and is the perfect place to relax. From the end of January, you can enjoy the afternoon sun here. Just sit back and take it all in!

Spring is here… and so are the marmots 🐿️☀️

After a long winter, they’re slowly coming out of hibernation in the Rosuel National Park, which is just a 10-minute bus ride from the chalet.

Keep your eyes open on a sunny day… you might spot (or hear!😉) them.

After a day on the slopes, there’s nothing better than your own private bathroom 🚿

At Chalet Algonquin, all 5 bedrooms have a spacious ensuite bathroom with a relaxing rain shower. No sharing, no waiting! Just comfort and privacy and yes… we’ve tested them ourselves, and they’re seriously good😉
