Ten years ago, we arrived in Provence for what we thought would be a short adventure. We packed up our home into a container, brought the kids along, and I was convinced we’d be back within two years… I couldn’t imagine what I’d possibly do in all that “quiet.”
Well, life had other plans.
Slowly, without even noticing it at first, I fell in love. With the culture, the people, the history, the food. You’ve been here with me through the small failures, the bigger ones, and the emotional wins, the tiny ones that somehow meant the most.
Five years ago, we took a leap and fulfilled a dream. We bought a 16th-century estate, built in 1560, restored it with care, and brought it back to life. Since then, we’ve been hosting guests from all over the world. I thought it would be a lovely experience, but I never imagined just how meaningful, how full, and how interesting our life would become because of that decision.
Spring has arrived, both here in Provence and in my heart. The colours are vivid, birds are singing, butterflies are everywhere, and we’re so excited for the season that has already begun.
If you feel like you need to breathe, to pause, to experience something a little different, a little more real, Provence is waiting.
And so are we.
