Fin Février, nous plantions les arbres fruitiers dans le jardin de la Bastide.
Quel délicieux printemps à prendre soin de ces jeunes arbres, observer la floraison, voir naître les fruits, les abeilles butiner …
Et ce matin, 1ere cueillette de la vie de ces arbres fruitiers : un abricot, une nectarine (soit, ils sont petits 😉).
Quel délice ! Une chair fruitée, gourmande, veloutée et fondante en bouche !
Trop hâte qu’ils grandissent et qu’ils donnent plein de fruits pour les petits déjeuners !
At the end of February, we planted the fruit trees in the garden at La Bastide.
What a delightful spring it was, tending to these young trees, watching them blossom, seeing the fruit appear, the bees buzzing around…
And this morning, the first harvest of their lives: an apricot and a nectarine (yes, they’re small 😉).
What a treat! The flesh was fruity, luscious, velvety, and melted in your mouth!
I can’t wait for them to grow and give us lots of fruit for breakfast!
