Have to say last night's performances by Lisa as Adele and Gathan as Michael Jackson were both amazing. 🤩 2 class acts, 2 very different sets but a very entertaining pair. A huge thank you to them for coming over here to put on such a phenomenal show and to the great crowd that made the night a fantastic success ❤

We did a sound check last night that turned into an impromptu mini show of Gathan Cheema's talent.
What a phenomenal singer he is and how lucky are we that his friend Lisa Marie our amazing Adele tribute introduced us.
We are so excited for both their performances tonight!
If you are coming tonight you are going to be blown away!!🌬🤩😍

We both would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone that participated this year in our 1st sponsored swim in aid of Twilight - the retirement home for dogs and to Rusty who single handedly raised 500€ for Association Attis. We gave 800€ this weekend to Twilight at their dog show but we'd like to make this an annual event and raise even more!

We always knew running a restaurant would involve food critics. We just didn’t realise some of them would be anonymous, operate largely through “people who told us”, and provide unsolicited business consultancy at the same time. 😂
Apparently our portions are too small, our food isn’t as good as our predecessors, our Christmas lunch was poor value and our events are “going downhill”.
Quite the diagnosis!
We’re always happy to listen to genuine feedback from our customers — it’s how any good business learns and improves. But there is something rather amusing about receiving such a confident assessment based largely on what other people have apparently said.
Thankfully, our customers are perfectly capable of telling us what they think themselves.
To everyone who continues to visit us, support us, recommend us, come back time and time again, and take the time to give us genuine feedback — thank you. ❤️
That means considerably more to us than anonymous letters and local hearsay ever could.
And to our anonymous food critic: thank you for your last 2 letters and for keeping us entertained. We’ll look forward to the next instalment. 😉

A lovely doggy day at La Charrue.
Charity dog show in aid of Twilight.
Lots of doggies, lots of prizes, lots of fun, and lots raised for the charity.
My Bertie got 2 rosettes: 3rd prize for musical hoops and a 2nd for fancy dress as James Bond 007.
Katie 's dog Lyra got a 3rd for fastest sausage eater, 1st for fancy dress and a trophy for Judges favourite.
