Southern Gems Retreat | October 20–25

Join us this autumn for our Southern Gems Retreat — a relaxed, sociable and beautifully varied journey through some of the most spectacular places in the south of France.

Over five days, your intrepid group of gay men will discover the very best of the region: historic sites, dramatic landscapes, local markets, excellent food and wine, mountain villages, sea air, Roman and medieval monuments and hidden places that most visitors never find.

We’ll visit the extraordinary red landscapes of Lake Salagou, the Romanesque church at Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, taste vermouth cocktails at Noilly Prat (see photo), swim near the Pont du Diable, explore the gorgeous Abbaye de Fontfroide, walk beside the pink salt lagoons at Gruissan, and spend a full Roman day in Nîmes, including the museum, the Maison Carrée, the Pont du Gard and the arena.

There will also be time to browse local markets, enjoy good restaurants, and taste some of the best food and drink the region has to offer.

Your guide, Joel, is English-speaking, lives here in the south of France, and loves sharing the secret places, favourite views and special local discoveries that make this area so unforgettable.

Our First Gourmet Poolside BBQ Of The Summer...

20 hungry guests joined us for a delicious three-course barbecue dinner, paired with some of the best wines from our region. The air was warm, the stars were overhead, and our new pool was glowing beside us all evening.

2 ans déjà.

Deux années à vivre au rythme des fournées, des coups de feu, des soirées à rallonge, des moments de doute mais surtout de beaucoup de bonheur.

Quand j’ai ouvert les portes de Pitchou Pizza, je n’imaginais pas tout ce que cette aventure allait m’apporter. Derrière chaque pizza, il y a des heures de travail, des essais, des remises en question, de la passion et l’envie constante de faire toujours mieux.

Aujourd’hui, je tiens simplement à vous dire merci.

Merci à tous ceux qui poussent la porte de la pizzeria depuis le premier jour.
Merci aux habitués qui sont devenus bien plus que des clients.
Merci à ceux qui nous découvrent encore chaque semaine.
Merci pour votre confiance, vos encouragements et votre fidélité.

Ces deux années n’auraient pas été possibles sans vous.

Et l’aventure continue.

À partir de demain, une nouvelle carte fait son arrivée, avec de nouvelles recettes, de nouvelles saveurs et toujours la même envie de vous régaler.

Our Newest, Slightly Camp Flourish...

Our new pool already has a new beach for lounging and a 'chatting port' for gathering with cocktails during pool parties. But we felt it needed one final touch…

So we’ve added a giant Bird of Paradise plant on its own little peninsula in the middle of the pool.

Is it necessary? Not at all.

Does it add a little glamour, a little tropical flair and make us smile every time we walk past it? Absolutely.

We can’t wait to see it growing into its new home over the coming months.
