💙 September might just be one of our favourite times of year in Aberdyfi...

The summer crowds begin to disappear, but the beach certainly doesn’t...

The summer crowds have gone, but there are still miles of beach to wander, coffee and cake to stop for, and plenty of time to sit and watch the world go by.

The evenings are beginning to draw in, the pace feels a little slower, and suddenly a cosy pub after a long walk by the sea sounds very appealing. 🍂

It’s that lovely in-between time — still holding onto summer, but with the first little hints of autumn.

We think Aberdyfi is rather special at this time of year. 💙

We’ve been admiring the incredible Friday cakes from Toast Coffee House — choosing just one looks almost impossible!

Toast is in nearby Tywyn, only around 3 miles from Isfryn, and perfect for elevenses, coffee with friends or a mid-afternoon treat.

Next weekend is one of the highlights of the summer calendar, with two fantastic events taking place in the village.

🚂 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 - 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧
One of Wales' most iconic sporting events, where runners race alongside the Talyllyn Railway.

🍴 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 – 𝐀𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐲𝐟𝐢 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥

Just a few weeks to go until Tywyn Promenade comes alive for one of the biggest free family events of the summer! 🌅🎸

Come along and support some incredible up-and-coming local talent as they take to the stage. You never know you might just discover your new favourite artist before everyone else!

🎧 DJ Stage (4pm until late)
As the sun starts to set, the beats take over! Expect an afternoon and evening packed with house, trance, hard house, bounce, drum & bass, and all your favourite 90s & 00s dance classics from a fantastic line-up of DJs.
