Lovely lunch with hubby at 1176 in Cardigan. Always love the chicken shawarma…never disappoints 😋. And the chocolate torte with blackberry sorbet was delicious - no pic as I couldn’t wait to try it 🤣

Nice atmosphere. Always friendly helpful staff. Lovely views over town, towards river, or across the castle grounds. Dog friendly seating outside under covered areas.

Here is a little town that we have passed through many times but never seem to stop to have an explore…so we had a day out in LAMPETER today.

A lovely historic market town situated further up the River Teifi. We enjoyed a lovely lunch at Artisan's Food and Drink Boutique - very dog friendly, lovely lunch options, plenty of tea choices, and a tasty selection of cakes.

Then we had an explore around Olwen Wood - gorgeous woodland with beautiful Beech trees (which were perfect for a family game of hide and seek!). This is the southern wood of the Coedwig Gymunedol Longwood Community Woodland - you can walk through the full woods all the way to Lampeter…about 4.6 miles one way - unfortunately we didn’t have time today to explore all the woodland so it is definitely something we will come back to complete soon 👍

☀️ 🌊 🚤 Lovely day in Aberaeron today.

Finally got round to doing the Aberaeron to Llanerchaeron walk - really easy flat route along the riverside, nice for walking, running or cycling - about 2.5 mile (one way) if you do the full route. We parked in a small car park on the Aberaeron side (I’ll put pic of location in the comments - only room for about 6 cars) so this made it a little shorter to Llanerchaeron. A lovely lunch at Conti's Cafe's at Llanerchaeron.

Also had a stomp around Allt Y Graig - a small woodland route near the same car park…a much steeper climb in this one. 😮‍💨

Then parked back in Aberaeron and walked around the new harbour.

What a glorious day for mid-late September! ☀️ 😎 🌊 🏖️
So a late afternoon trip to Poppit Sands with 🧒’s & 🐶’s.
Beautiful huge expanse of beach that runs alongside the Teifi estuary.
Majority of beach is dog friendly all year round.
About 10 mile from Aberdwylan Farm.
