Killin and Kenmore have lovely 9-hole golf courses, with more golf courses within 30 minutes drive. Excellent opportunities for hill-walking, horse riding, water sports, white water-rafting, wildlife safaris, deer-stalking, game shooting and ski-ing - with Glencoe only an hour away. Loch Tay Highland Lodges is ideal for fishing on both the central and western beats of the loch. We have a fleet of fishing boats for hire by the day or half day. We have a full range of onsite outdoor activities, choose from instructor-led canoeing, gorge walking, archery, segways, katakanu hire and more!

Autumn looks rather good around Loch Tay 🍂

If you're staying at Loch Tay Highland Lodges this autumn, you don't need to go far to find a beautiful walk.

The River Lochay and Loch Tay Nature Path is a gentle 3.7-mile circular route taking around 1.5–2 hours, with woodland, riverside views and the Falls of Dochart along the way.

It's the kind of walk that feels like you've properly escaped to the Highlands — without needing to spend the whole day on the trail 🥾

Then it's back to the lodge, somewhere warm, and absolutely no reason to rush.
