Here comes the sun! Shorts, sunglasses and suncream will be needed if you’re out and about on the canal this week.

The canal is beautiful regardless of the weather, but in the sunshine, there isn’t a better place to be.

All change at Church Wharf! After 21 and a half years, Sharon and Nick have handed over the reigns of Castle Narrowboats to the new owners, Mike and Helen. Although, you’re likely to still spot Sharon and Nick on the wharf as they have been invaluable in helping us hit the ground running with a busy month of bookings.

Ozzy has also been busy handing over Wharf Dog duties to Eddie, the new canine resident of Church Wharf

Mike and I would like to offer a very big “Thank You” to Nick, Sharon and Joe for all their help, and we wish Nick and Sharon a very happy, and very well deserved retirement. As for Mike and I, we look forward to getting to know you all soon.
