What a weekend in Aberporth ☀️

The beaches have been busy, the weather’s been unreal, and the views from the Llwybr Arfordir Cymru / Wales Coast Path have looked incredible all weekend 🌊

Really good to see The Boy Ashore back open too. We headed down for a burger and cider yesterday.. .would’ve been rude not to 🍔🍺

Nothing beats a bank holiday weekend in West Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

From paddling in the sea and building sandcastles to kayaking, coastal walks, enjoying pints & lunch at the The Ship Aberporth or icecream from Caffi Sgadan - there’s something for everyone to enjoy 🛶🍺🍦

Aberporth is famous for its breathtaking beachside walks along the Llwybr Arfordir Cymru / Wales Coast Path, but tucked away beyond the shoreline are some lovely winding woodland trails too 🌿

A small, stunning beach along the Llwybr Arfordir Cymru / Wales Coast Path, cared for by National Trust Cymru

If you’re exploring Cardigan Bay, it’s well worth a visit. There’s a good chance of spotting dolphins from April to September, and even with a bit of cloud, the sunsets here are something special 🌅

What a beautiful day we're having to finish the bank holiday off perfectly ☀️

The forecast is looking good for the next few days of the Easter holidays ~ perfect for going to the beach or enjoying a coastal walk along the Llwybr Arfordir Cymru / Wales Coast Path . Finish the day off at the The Ship Aberporth or chips on the beach from Caffi Sgadan 🌊🍺🐟

~ New Quay | Cei Newydd ~

No Easter holiday feels complete without a visit to New Quay, just 20 minutes up the coast from Aberporth 📍

This charming fishing harbour is the halfway point along the Llwybr Arfordir Cymru / Wales Coast Path and is the perfect spot for a seaside wander. With its little independent shops to browse, two beautiful beaches, a picturesque harbour, and dolphin-spotting boat trips, there’s always something to enjoy 🐬

You’ll also find plenty of pubs, restaurants, chippies, ice-cream shops and cosy cafés. Today we stopped for lunch at The Watch House. The decor was gorgeous and the sea views were stunning 🌊
