After all the storms and wet weather we’ve had recently, the sunshine has finally returned to Clarach Bay and Aberystwyth!

The sea is still a little wild, but the blue skies are back and it’s looking like a lovely Halloween weekend here on the Welsh coast. 🎃

📚 Discover Mid Wales – National Library of Wales

Rainy day in Aberystwyth? There’s plenty to discover indoors too!

The National Library of Wales is home to the famous Black Book of Carmarthen, a medieval manuscript dating back to around 1250.

It’s one of the oldest surviving manuscripts written in Welsh and contains some of the earliest references to Merlin, the legendary wizard!

The library also has exhibitions, fascinating collections and beautiful views over Aberystwyth.
