Now that’s what we call a Highland morning! 🌊✨

A huge thank you to our guest Richard, who stayed with us last night in his TentBox setup, for capturing and sharing these absolute gems. We are honestly blown away by the quality of these shots—from the breathtaking skies over the bay to those crystal-clear close-ups of our resident seals lounging on the rocks. That seal expression is pure peace!

🦭 A quick wildlife reminder: We love our local seals, but please remember to always give them plenty of space, keep dogs on leads, and admire them from a distance. Richard did it the right way—using a great camera zoom to capture those peaceful faces without disturbing them!

🌙🏔️ Moonlight over Gruinard Bay…

A few photos from tonight as the moon rose behind the mountains. Each one getting a little darker, a little quieter and, we think, a little more magical. ✨

Some of our favourite regular neighbours taking full advantage of the low tide in Gruinard Bay today! 🦭🌊

There’s nothing quite like watching them bask on the rocks right on our doorstep. If you’re fancying an autumn escape to soak up views like this, we have plenty of availability across our static holiday caravans throughout October—including Seals Rock, which is the ultimate cosy spot for a bit of wildlife watching! 🍂✨

A gentle reminder for anyone heading down along the shore: please always admire our resident seals from a respectful distance, keep dogs on leads, and give them plenty of space so they can rest undisturbed. 💙

Notice: Poolewe Bridge will be closed 9am-12pm on Thursday 24th September, with timed access allowed at 10am and 11am. This is for a structural inspection of the bridge.

A massive thank you to Richard and his pals for sending over these absolute gems from their trip back in June! 📸✨

There really is nothing quite like a Wester Ross sunset when the sky turns those brilliant shades of pink over Gruinard Bay—and we love these fantastic shots of the historic Sand Chapel right next door to us, too. Always wonderful seeing the park and our stunning corner of the coast through our guests' eyes (including a few pitch signs that clearly have stories of their own to tell! 😉).

Hope you guys are having a great rest of the season, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for another stay by the sea!

🌅🏔️ After a damp week or so, moments like this make it all worthwhile…

It was lovely to finally see a bit of sunshine break through, lighting up the mountains around Gruinard Bay with the most beautiful amber glow. ❤️

It was even better seeing so many of our guests outside, making the most of the sunshine — with plenty of seals enjoying the calm waters of the bay too! 🦭

These are the moments that remind us just how special this place is. 🥰

If you fancy a few nights away in a cosy static caravan, we still have plenty of availability throughout September and October. 🍂🏡

☀️🏔️ Another pinch-me moment at Gruinard Bay today…

After a couple of rather rainy days, it was lovely to see the sunshine return! 🌞

Blue skies, beautiful light and those incredible mountain ranges stretching out across the bay. 🏔️❤️

And while we were enjoying the sunshine, three seals were happily basking away on the rocks 🦭

Days like this really do make us stop and think just how incredibly lucky we are to live here — and even luckier that we get to share it with our lovely guests.

Another day, another little pinch-me moment at Gruinard Bay. 🥰
