Yesterday we went out for lunch in the sun at Pool House - Poolewe, Scotland, a well earned break!

Possibly the best cup of coffee I have ever had!

Highlife Highland Ranger Katie Grant will be leading a guided walk of the Achtercairn Archaeology Trail next month - and again in July - with Jeremy Fenton - what a team 😊

So as well as hearing about the Roundhouses and Archaeological remains, it is a chance to discover how plants were used by people in the past, to heal, to build and to produce what they needed. Perfect for curious minds and nature lovers alike.

What's your favourite walk?

Mine is the the Kernsary path, a 6 mile circular walk directly from Corriness House. Mountains, lochs and sunshine gets my vote.

If you’re visiting Poolewe and like your garden, stopping to see Ben at Tournaig is a must. A fantastic independent nursery.
