We’re now into the final month of our 2026 season, and we can’t quite believe how quickly the time has flown by!

Over the coming weeks, you may notice that things are starting to look a little different around here…

We’ve been working with the wonderful Thirty Fathoms to create a new logo that we feel better reflects the character and feel of Salen Bay Campsite, and we’ll gradually be introducing our new look across the business.

Rest assured, nothing else is changing. We’re still the same campsite, with the same warm welcome and everything you know and love about SBC...just with a fresh new look.

We absolutely love it, and we hope you do too! 💙

Our little corner of paradise has been filled with fun, laughter, adventures and so many happy memories! Plus, we’ve even been treated to some bonus sunshine along the way! ☀️

We know that great facilities can make all the difference to a holiday experience, which is why we've created clean and practical spaces for all our guests.

🏕️ Our facility courtyard consists of a male, female and accessible modern, state-of-the-art Portakabins, designed to provide comfort, convenience and reliability throughout your stay.

🚿 Our shower and toilet facilities are spacious, well-maintained and regularly cleaned to ensure guests can enjoy a comfortable experience during their visit.

🧼 Follow the courtyard around and you'll find our dedicated wash room, complete with two large sinks, practical shelving space, a mirror and a power socket for hairdryer use.

🏠 Connected to the wash room is our Bothy, a welcoming indoor space that serves as a sanctuary during wet weather and a useful communal area throughout the year.

🔌 The Bothy provides seating, a kitchen table, charging points for electronics and space to relax, plan your next adventure or simply escape the elements for a while.

🧺 Guests also have access to a coin-operated washer and dryer, along with a deep freezer and a wide selection of local guides, maps and visitor information.

✨ Cleanliness is one of our highest priorities, which is why our facilities courtyard is cleaned every morning and evening, as well as receiving a full deep clean every lunchtime.

At Salen Bay Campsite we believe the little details matter, and our facilities are designed to help make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

For guests looking to experience the bay from a different perspective, our on-site kayak and paddleboard hire offers the perfect opportunity to get out on the water.

🛶 Through Salen Bay Hire, guests can hire kayaks and stand-up paddleboards during suitable weather conditions, making it easy to add a little adventure (and fun!) to their stay.

🌊 Exploring the coastline from the water allows you to discover hidden viewpoints and appreciate the beauty of the bay from an entirely new angle.
