Quite the grand backdrop for a room full of impressive people and businesses for the Arundel Chamber of Commerce meeting this morning at Arundel Town Hall .
Over the last few months, we have really enjoyed getting to know the people behind Arundel and its business community. There is a huge amount of energy, collaboration and goodwill in the room at every Arundel Chamber of Commerce meeting, and it has been a brilliant reminder of just how powerful local connections and networking can be.
In fact, looking around the room this morning, it struck us just how many of the people there have played some part in the Sefton Place journey, whether through advice, introductions, support, services or simply championing what we are trying to create.
With just a few days to go until we finally open our doors, we cannot wait for Sefton Place to become a genuinely active part of this community and, hopefully, contribute as much as we have already gained from it.
And what surroundings to meet in. Apparently, hanging above us is the very last gas-powered chandelier in Europe. Thank you to Laura Mott for the history lesson and for sharing some of the fascinating story behind the room!
It also made us even more excited about our next Arundel adventure: taking on the hosting of the brand-new Visit Arundel Podcast.
We can’t wait to sit down with many of the incredible people and businesses we have met, get to know them in more detail, discover what makes them tick and uncover some of the stories, characters and ideas that make Arundel such a special place.
Not long now… 🎙️
