🐟 Fresh from the market to your plate!
Yesterday’s special was a market loin of fish, served with rich ratatouille, tenderstem broccoli and a confit garlic mayo 😍 Simple, seasonal and full of flavour, it’s exactly the kind of dish our kitchen loves to make.

🐦 Our morning setting-up crew came with feathers today!
While getting ready to open, we couldn’t resist a bit of birdwatching from the window. This morning’s visitors on the water were:
🐦 Herring gulls
🐦 A black-backed gull
🐦 Oystercatchers
🐦 A godwit
🐦 A greenshank
🤍 And a little egret, looking very elegant as always

🌅 Good morning from the terrace!
The RNLI lifeboat caught in the sunrise this morning. Watching the water wake up never gets old, and it’s even better with a coffee in hand ☕
We’re open all day, so pop in whenever suits you:
🍳 Breakfast 8–10am
🥪 Lunch 12–2:30pm
🍽️ Dinner 5–8:30pm
🍻 Drinks in between
Dogs and families are always welcome here 🐾👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Grab a spot on the terrace and enjoy the view. See you soon!

🌅 What a way to start a Sunday.
This morning’s view from inside The Royal George, with the sun coming up over the water and a gig boat powering by. Not a bad spot for a roast, is it?
We’re offering an extended Sunday roast today, so there’s no need to rush. Come down whenever suits you from 12 until 3.30 and settle in with a proper roast and that view.
