This cosy retreat with a light and airy feel is beautifully presented. The front door opens into an open plan living area where you will find underfloor heating throughout and a wood burning stove. Sleeping up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms, both having en-suite facilities. Outside you will find ample off road parking along with a private enclosed garden with lawn and furniture. The cottage and garden have beautiful woodland and far reaching countryside views. Whether it be a romantic secluded getaway or an action packed holiday the cottage makes the perfect base.

Start and finish your walk at The Robin Hood, Baslow with this beautiful 4.5 mile circular route around Birchen Edge

Taking approximately 2 hours 15 minutes, this moderate route takes you through the Peak District countryside with plenty of views along the way before bringing you right back to the pub for a well earned drink or bite to eat 🍽️

We will say this quietly 🤫 but if you're looking to attend this year's Illuminations on a less busy night, this coming Sunday might suit you well.

Last year the final Sunday in September drew the smallest attendance of the season - and then every Sunday in October went on to *s e l l - o u t* in advance.

A reminder that it's cheaper for adults to book in advance online, and it's just £1 for accompanied under 16s 👍
