Explore Aylsham’s hidden wildlife and make a bug hotel this Saturday.

Join wild crafter Jon Tyler (Wild for Woods) and the ACE Biodiversity and Nature Group for a gentle, family-friendly guided walk along the Town Green Spaces Trail.

Weaving through historic sites, wildlife habitats, green corridors, and quiet lanes, you will gather sticks and stems along the way to craft your very own mini bug hotel at the end of the route.

The walk is suitable for families with children aged 5 and over. All equipment and materials are provided.

The Details:

Date: This Saturday, 12 September

Time: 10:30 to 12:30

Starting Point: Aylsham Parish Church, Market Place

Cost: Free (Funded by Broadland District Council’s Future for Nature Fund and supported by Aylsham Town Council)

"A flawless boutique stay in a perfect location! 5/5 ⭐

You couldn't ask for a better spot to explore North Norfolk.

The Ironmongers sits right on the historic market square, making it incredibly easy to step out and enjoy everything Aylsham has to offer.

While it is room-only, having the incredible Bread Source bakery practically downstairs for morning pastries and top-tier pubs like the Black Boys across the square made sourcing meals a total delight.

The room itself was a beautifully curated sanctuary.

Highly recommend!
