Our 60-seater restaurant can accommodate larger parties, while our private dining room (The Garden Room) comfortably seats up to 18 guests, offering a more intimate setting for your celebration.

Our festive menu is available from 30th November and is suitable for groups of all sizes. The festive menu is compulsory for groups of 10 or more, with smaller groups welcome.

🌰Our New Menus Have Arrived…

We are delighted to announce the launch of our new à la carte menu today, alongside our Lite Lunch Menu, Gluten Free Menu, Vegan Menu, Takeaway Menu and 2 & 3 Course Party Menus for larger gatherings.

We’ve brought back some much-loved old favourites and returning classics, alongside some new dishes for you to discover. We hope there will be something to tempt everyone, whether you’re joining us for a special occasion, a meal with friends and family, or simply a relaxing evening out.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you and hearing what you think of our new menus.

And finally… 🔥
Our chimney sweep has been booked, so the countdown to those cosy evenings in the bar has officially begun. We’ll soon be lighting the fire and looking forward to welcoming you in for the autumn and winter season.

We are open! ✅

Unfortunately, our phone lines and WiFi have been down since 4am due to a major server fault with BT Openreach, and there’s currently no estimated time for reconnection. The joys! 🙃

Apologies if you’ve been unsuccessfully trying to call or email us. We also have very little mobile signal inside our stone building with its thick walls, so communication is proving a little tricky!

Due to the International Festival of Flight Air Show taking place along the seafront, we have made the decision to close the hotel to non-residents from 8am - 4pm on Saturday 5th September.

Unfortunately, the expected traffic congestion in and around the town will make it extremely difficult for guests to access the hotel during lunchtime, and we feel this is the best decision to avoid unnecessary disruption.

Please also note that our car park will be closed during this time. This will ensure that sufficient parking is fully available for our customers when we reopen in the evening.

We will be fully open again from 4pm on Saturday and will be open all day Friday & Sunday as usual.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding. We look forward to welcoming everyone back from 4pm on Saturday!
