We have one Self Catering farm cottage 'Ireby House' , two Self Catering Eco Lodges and a small quiet Caravan, Camping and Glamping site 'Tranwell Fam Campsite' with a selection of caravan and camping pitches, two glamping bell tents, two camping pods, a shepherds hut and an Equestrian Livery yard located on our farm on the outskirts of Morpeth in the heart of Northumberland. Northumberland is one of the most sparsely populated counties in England. It's an area of outstanding natural beauty and dark skies. Dramatic coastlines, miles of sandy beaches, rolling hills and majestic castles all waiting to be explored. Morpeth, is situated in the centre of Northumberland and combines history and heritage. Here you'll find traditional farmers markets, interesting shops, fabulous restaurants, takeaways and tea rooms, supermarkets and a park and gardens.

🥂 25 YEARS OF WELCOMING GUESTS TO NORTHUMBERLAND! 🥂

Wow… what a ride it’s been! ❤️

25 years ago, Philip and I began our journey in tourism with a B&B, welcoming guests and sharing our love for this beautiful part of the world. Life then brought us back to the farm, where we created Tranwell Farm Holidays and continued doing what we love most, welcoming visitors, making memories and helping people discover everything that makes Northumberland so special.

From those early days to building our business, meeting so many wonderful people, making lifelong friends and even winning tourism awards along the way 🏆, it’s been an incredible journey filled with hard work, laughter, challenges and so many happy memories.

Looking back, we feel incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and so grateful to every guest who has stayed with us, supported us and been part of our story. You’ve helped make these 25 years truly special.

And of course, none of it would have been possible without the support of family, friends and everyone who has been part of our journey along the way.

So, here’s to 25 years of hospitality, a thousand memories, lots of laughter and, hopefully, many more years of welcoming guests to our little corner of Northumberland! 🥂

Maybe you don't need a big holiday… just a few days to slow down, take a breath and enjoy the little things again.

Slow mornings, fresh country air, a proper cuppa while it's still hot, long chats, cosy evenings and absolutely no pressure to be anywhere or do anything.

Sometimes, the best breaks aren't about doing more, but about giving yourself time to do a little less.

If life has felt a little busy lately, perhaps a little escape to Tranwell Farm is just what you need. A chance to switch off, reconnect and make time for the things that really matter.

We know that a holiday isn’t truly complete unless every member of the family can come along, including the four-legged ones! Our site is proudly dog-friendly, with plenty of space to explore, stretch their legs, and enjoy a real countryside adventure.
Surrounded by miles of footpaths, woodlands, and open fields, Tranwell Farm is the perfect base for long walks and lazy evenings.
