This month, I’m making a special effort to eat and drink in the pubs of the Kingston & Stanford division.

(I say effort - going out for fish and chips and a pint is really no hardship!)

The government in Westminster is making it harder and harder to run a successful pub or hospitality business in this country - and many of our pubs are struggling.

Ultimately, we need policies from the government to support pubs and help them succeed. But in the meantime, one of the best things we can all do is pay our local pubs a visit.

When you do, you won’t find food or drink much better than at The Trout at Tadpole Bridge!
