🍂💚 AND THAT'S A WRAP ON 2026… WHAT A YEAR IT'S BEEN! 💚🍂
Well, that's another season over at Feughside Caravan Park, and it's certainly been one for the memory books! ❤️
When we opened our gates back in spring, we had no idea quite what 2026 had in store for us.
In April, life took an unexpected turn when Graham suffered a stroke. Suddenly, the season we'd planned looked very different, and we found ourselves having to adapt to circumstances we certainly hadn't seen coming.
There have been challenges, unexpected changes and plenty of moments when we've had to think on our feet. We've rolled up our sleeves, worked together and taken each day as it comes. Some days have been easier than others, but we've kept going and made it through another season.
And one person who deserves a very special mention is our son, Connor. 💙
Connor, you've been an absolute star this year! ⭐
You've stepped up when we needed you most, worked incredibly hard and helped keep everything running. We genuinely couldn't have managed this season without you, and we're so proud of the way you've taken everything in your stride. Thank you for all you've done. ❤️
And Graham, well, 2026 certainly wasn't the year we had planned! But we've faced the challenges together, adapted along the way and kept moving forward. 💚
Just when we thought we'd reached the finishing line, along came Storm Boelo to give us one final test! 🌧️💨
No electricity from Sunday until Monday evening, no phone or internet, and some storm damage thrown in for good measure!
Not exactly the peaceful end to the season we'd imagined. Clearly, 2026 wasn't going to let us finish quietly! 🙈🍃
But despite everything, when we look back on this year, there's so much to be grateful for.
💚 AND THAT BRINGS US TO ALL OF YOU… 💚
To our wonderful holiday home owners, our familiar returning guests, those who discovered Feughside Caravan Park for the first time, and everyone who chose to spend time with us this season, a huge THANK YOU! 🏡⛺🚐
Your continued support means so much to our little family business.
To everyone who has shown kindness, patience and understanding throughout the year, especially those who knew what we were going through, we really do appreciate it.
The friendly chats, familiar faces, laughter, words of encouragement and offers of help haven't gone unnoticed. It's these little things that make such a difference and remind us why we enjoy what we do. ❤️
We hope you've all enjoyed your time with us this year, whether it was a weekend under canvas, a touring adventure, a motorhome or campervan getaway, or another season making memories in your holiday home. 🌿☀️
Now, with our 2026 season officially finished as of Monday 26th October, it's time to turn our attention to the winter jobs.
There's storm damage to sort, maintenance to tackle and plenty to get ready before we welcome everyone back. So much for putting our feet up! 🤭🔨
And speaking of welcoming everyone back…
🏡🌸 ONLY 149 DAYS UNTIL OUR HOLIDAY HOME OWNERS RETURN! 🌸🏡
Not that we're counting, of course! 😉💚
We're already looking forward to seeing familiar faces again, welcoming new visitors and enjoying another season in beautiful Royal Deeside. ⛰️🌷
If 2026 has taught us anything, it's that you never quite know what's around the corner. But with a bit of determination, a sense of humour, family pulling together and good people around you, there's always a way forward.
We're ending this season grateful, proud of what we've achieved together and looking forward to what 2027 brings. 💚
So, from the three of us, thank you for supporting Feughside Caravan Park, for your understanding throughout a challenging year and for being part of another season with us.
Here's hoping 2027 brings good health, plenty of sunshine and perhaps a little less excitement behind the scenes! 🤞☀️🥂
🍂 Take care over the winter, everyone. Stay safe, keep warm and we'll look forward to seeing you all again in the spring! 🍂
With love and thanks,
Graham, Heather & Connor ❤️
