Kingfisher Cottage

At Kingfisher Cottage we have a small growing plot in the garden!

We are not experts by far… beginners really but we harvested these Crown Prince pumpkins and they’ll be a delicious soup this autumn!

We might be a holiday cottage for guests but we are so much more… and we have been loving this garden back into productivity!

Last night we were having our knit & stitch group - ladies from the village were treated to homemade coffee & walnut cake… thanks Steve x

It’s nice to use Kingfisher Cottage as a community space!

Here are the photos of what everyone was working on!

After being asked a few times what it might cost to hold an event here at Kingfisher Cottage - I have put together this illustrative hire flyer... of course I am flexible and will do my utmost to accommodate you and your event - but people keep asking... These prices apply from 15th October to 31 January 2027.

Look what I picked up at our local auction house… a metal display for our Guest Book!

We love it when we get online reviews and the ones we get in the book seem even more special…

When you visit, feel free to look at previous guest reviews!

They often mention kingfisher sightings!

Oh and because doing the bedroom got me in a creative mood… I thought I’d do the main living area… what do you think?

Smaller tree?
Do we need the wreath as well as the tree?

I’ve only gone and chosen all the bits for Kingfisher Cottage’s Christmas set up… green, blue and cream baubles & bows with green furry throws…

I’m going to set it all up and do a photo shoot later this month!

Thanks to AI and my original photography we were able to curate the look so it’s a template for when I unpack all the goodies!
