We’re a fuss-free campsite designed for self-contained units, perfectly located in the small but fantastic village of Barlow. You’ll feel like you’re in the countryside (just look at that view! 🌿), while still being only a 10-minute walk from two of Derbyshire’s best pubs: The Peacock At Barlow and The Tickled Trout 🍻

As we’re a working farm and livery yard, you’ll get a genuine taste of rural life during your stay. Expect to see real farm work taking place, horses grazing in the fields, and the horses being cared for throughout the day, it’s all part of the experience and charm of staying here. 🐴🚜

Country dreams coming to life just 10 minutes away from the campsite (walk!!)🙏 The Lakeside Cafe at Barlow Country Club are putting on live county music evenings once a month over summer and it’s the best night 🤠 The next one is the 3rd of July so make sure to book in 🩷

I have found another awesome campsite this week! IT HAS HAMMOCKS TOO!

Also, the most amazing pub is a 5 minute walk away! (Definitely a 15 minute walk back though 🤣🤣)

We checked out the lovely Chatsworth House Garden & Plant Fair today 📍

Chatsworth is a beautiful day out whether there’s an event on or you just want to wander around and explore the gardens. It’s only a 20-minute drive from us AND they do the best ice cream ever! 🍦🌿☀️ Chatsworth House

Good news, you can now book direct with us at Elm Tree Farm Campsite 🌿 We still have availability left for the rest of the summer weekends along with plenty of weekday pitches.

If you’re looking for a peaceful few days away, Barlow is a lovely place to slow down. Think countryside walks, horses grazing nearby, pub gardens, and easy access to the Peak District.
